Golf Schools are available at the New York Golf Park. Players can work on and improve every segment of their game on the course. Any skill level of golfer, from green grass beginners to single digit handicaps will benefit from the Start to Finish Golf Academy’s proven methodology.
A typical on course lesson includes
- Player Profile & Assessment – In the first session, we complete a profile together to outline strengths, weaknesses, golf background, prior injuries, and personal goals. From this, we establish a customized improvement plan.
- Focused Instruction – Each lesson emphasizes one specific area of the game (e.g., putting, chipping, driving, bunker play) to ensure measurable progress.
- Skill Demonstration & Coaching – The student demonstrates their current technique while I carefully observe to identify root issues. Using targeted drills, training aids, and varied instructional methods, we work on correcting mistakes and building better habits.
- Video Analysis – Swing videos are recorded both before and after instruction. Together, we review the footage to highlight key changes, improvements, and next steps for continued success.
- Personalized Follow-Up – Students receive their lesson videos via email, along with written tips and drills to reinforce progress and support ongoing development.

How to get the most out of your Golf School:
- Arrive early, stretch, loosen up by hitting a few balls so that you are warm by the start of the session
- Empty your mind, be open to suggestions on how you are going to improve
- Realize that change is good and necessary in order for improvement
- Ask questions about anything that you are unclear about
- Commit to the changes!!! Be consistent!!!
- Communicate to the instructor what you are thinking and feeling
- Make sure you are clear on the purpose of certain drills and exercises
- Review the keys to success at the conclusion of the lesson
- Give yourself adequate time to practice after the session is complete
